ART DIRECTION Spring Studios design team
BRIEF E-commerce launch
STARTING POINT
In collaboration with Spring Studios’
design team, we worked hand in
hand with their art direction on
the e-commerce launch for the
renowned legacy fashion label.
Having in mind all the requirements from Farfetch Black & White:
the service-led turnkey solution for luxury fashion brands, we created
a contemporary visual experience that considered all devices with a
mobile-first approach, focusing on this legacy brand’s main features.
NOTE
This project was conceptualized while working on the product and set photography’s art direction.
Some of the images used in the visuals do not belong to Emilio Pucci and were only used as reference.
UX
The project started from sketched low-fidelity to high-fidelity wireframes
and defining the user journey and site map.
HOMEPAGE FLEXIBILITY
We provided different homepage layouts with varied components
arrangements based on different strategy needs that may occur
through the year. The objective is to have a flexible Homepage
without losing rhythm and without affecting the user experience.
COMPONENTS DEFINITION
Due to the flexible layout structure, we defined a components library
for both desktop and mobile.
VISUAL SEARCH
Emilio Pucci, the Marquis of Barsento, was crowned “The Prince of Prints”
by the international fashion press and became a fashion phenomenon in the 1950s.
Our intention was to honour one of the main features of the brand: its prints & colour.
Making then a statement including them from the Search page to filters on Listing pages.
